How do I know my horses rug size?
Just like us - horses can vary in shape and size! At Goodwoods we have rugs for all horses from ponies through to gentle giants.
To measure your horse for a rug - measure from the centre of their chest (A), around their shoulder, down the side of their belly and towards their rump (B). Once you have this measurement we recommend sizing up one size to ensure the rug fits comfortably on top of your horse.
With this being said, this is not a foolproof method to measure your horse. Once you receive your rug, we recommend trying it on your horse to ensure that it fits as after the rug has been worn we are unable to exchange the size.
Helpful hint: Try your new rug on over the top of a towel or a clean cotton to ensure you keep the brand new condition of the rug during the try on process.

What size halter/bridle do I need?
Luckily, halters and bridle sizing is a bit more 'universal' compared to rug sizing which makes everyones life a bit easier!
Typically both halters and bridles have adjustability so you are able to alter them to create the perfect fit.
